SMIT "CREATOR" is participating in a training course titled Training course for key multipliers -youth workers and youth leaders - working on human rights education with Roma youth, which
is co-ordinated by Center for Sustainable Community Development - CSCD Romania and held in Craiova, Romania.
The TC Romales aims at equipping 21 youth workers and youth leaders with tools and methods on working with youth from minorities' groups and with youth with ethnic background. The TC Romales aims
at:
- promoting management of diversity tools and methods to the youth workers and youth leaders working with the specified target.
- developing new tools and methodologies through the participants' contribution on working with diversity management methods
- developing a network of active NGO working with groups with youth with ethnic and national background.

As a SMIT CREATOR member I had a chance to take part in the training course ROMALES implemented in July 13th to 19th 2012 in Craiova, Romania.
The training course had been granted by the Council of Europe and involved 23 youth workers and youth leaders from 9 countries.
ROMALES aimed at equipping the youth leaders and youth workers working with discriminated groups with new working methodologies based on human rights education and management of diversity.
Trainers purpose was to widen our knowledge about human rights. They also shared with some advice how to run a session in a creative way or how to do a respectable workshop. Mainly, they taught us how to attract the attention and make something which is worth its price. It proved to be very conducive, because on 4th day of the training we had started to prepare a two-day workshop for Roma minor offenders. During last two days we all had been working in Craiova prison, which was an extraordinary practical experience. We had a chance to verify our leading skills and understand what does a stay in “real jail” means.
ROMALES as a training course gave me wide knowledge about management of diversity and human rights in general. Obviously, people, both participants and organizers, were extremely joyful and friendly. They made the atmosphere very warm and cosy. If I could choose, I would want to be back there one day.

As SMIT CREATOR’S Polish member I had an opportunity to take part in project called ROMALES implemented in July 13th to 19th 2012 in Craiova, Romania.
The main purpose of the project was to acquaint the youth leaders and workers working with discriminated people with new methodologies of working based on human rights education and potencial of diversity. The activities contains workshops about human rights for participants, preparing and performing workshops by participants for prisoners. The project was successful for us and also for the prisoners- everybody has some new knowledge from that experience. In the project take part 23 participants from 9 countries: Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovenia, Turkey, Moldova, Croatia and Bosnia&Herzegovina.
I get a lot of great experiences, even more than I expected. Especially during visit in romania’s prison. I remembered Romania as really nice, interesting and similar to Poland country. I truly recommend participating in that kind of project.
